A côté de la statut de Vercingétorix ! Côte pentue pour y accéder mais nous y sommes bien passé avec camping car 7m. Places sur herbe ou sur bitume. L'été une petite guinguette/snack avec produit locaux, juste en dessous, très sympas. Il y a quelques tables pour manger. Toilette publique un peu plus bas
The Camper’s take
Parking at the summit of Mont Auxois, next to the Vercingétorix statue. Access via steep road (20 %), navigable with motorhomes up to 7-7.5 m. Level pitches on grass or tarmac. Public toilets 100 m downhill. Picnic tables and bins. Local snack bar in summer. Hiking trailhead, close to Alesia archaeological digs (10 min walk) and museum. Very quiet at night, busy during day.

Motorhome access : The access road is very steep (20%) and narrow, suitable for motorhomes up to 7-7.5 m in first gear. Avoid meeting oncoming traffic uphill. Easy parking at the top (flat terrain).
