The Camper’s take
Free parking at the foot of a UNESCO-listed Cistercian abbey, surrounded by forest. Accessible day and night with permission from reception. Gravel surface, mostly level. Only waste bin available. Perfect for abbey visits and hiking or mountain biking trails. Access via D31 recommended (avoid muddy forest roads). Very quiet nights, pristine natural setting. Large parking area, rarely crowded.

Good to know
- No facilities (toilets only open when the abbey is open: 10am–12pm / 2pm–5pm)
- Difficult access via GPS: muddy forest paths after rain, use D31 instead
- Unstabilized gravel terrain, slippery when wet
Motorhome access : Partially stabilized gravel terrain. Recommended entry via D31. Two campervan-friendly parking areas (left upon arrival); the one in front of the abbey is night-prohibited. Paths are generally flat but slippery when wet. Easy maneuvering in a large parking lot.
