Description
En cherchant un lieu pour séjourner un week-end à Thourotte et visiter notamment la maison de la batellerie à Longueil-Annel à 3 km à pied, nous sommes arrêtés en bordure d'un parking (portique) situé sur le halage finissant en voie sans issue. Très calme la nuit et agréable le jour. Seule restriction, le parking sert de plateau pour une moto-école le samedi... Ce qui n'est pas gênant si on reste pas dans son camping-car toute la journée !-). Sinon il y a tous les commerces accessibles en traversant le canal latéral de l'Oise.

Free parking along the Canal Latéral à l'Oise towpath near Thourotte. Flat, asphalt terrain, spacious. Quiet nights except for road traffic and occasional trains. Gated access. No on-site services. Local shops within walking distance. Note: motorcycle training school uses the lot on Saturday mornings; morning traffic from commuters heading to the nearby station.

Motorhome access : Access gate limiting height. Flat tarmac, easy maneuvering. Park at the far end near the bridge to avoid road noise and motorcycle school.
