The Camper’s take
Small waterside car park on the Aisne near Compiègne, flat and peaceful, ideal for an overnight stop. Picnic table and bakery very close by. Local geese and ducks frequent the area. Access via rue de l'Abreuvoir (one-way street, enter via rue de la Terrière). Can be noisy during the day (traffic, bridge), but quiet after midnight. Not recommended if local residents object to camper vans.

Motorhome access : Flat parking by the water with easy access. One-way entry via Rue de la Terrière. Fits 3–4 campervans max, according to reviews. Easy maneuvering.
