The Camper’s take
Spectacular free parking beside a river with waterfalls and White Glacier views. Excellent trailhead for challenging alpine hikes. Road access is narrow but well-paved, requiring careful driving. Important: overnight parking is officially prohibited by the Écrins National Park, though some ignore this rule. Best used as a day-use spot.

Motorhome access : Access via a winding and narrow road, well-paved but with many passing places to avoid oncoming traffic. Tricky maneuvering recommended. A 7.5m motorhome accessed it but with caution. Traffic varies by time of day.
