Mountain parking at 2050 m at Col du Lautaret with 40 gravel pitches, very quiet and far from road noise. Spectacular views of Écrins and Galibier peaks. Perfect hiking base. Restaurant and shops nearby. No water or electric services. Free but tolerated on national park land: respectful conduct essential. Forest track access.
