Mountain parking at Bales pass with stunning views and very quiet nights. Road access is narrow and winding, challenging for large vehicles. No services on-site. Pastoral atmosphere with cattle and sheep herds. Small kiosk open in season. Excellent easy hikes nearby (Mont Né, Bareilles lake).

Good to know
- Road access is very narrow and dizzying, not recommended for large motorhomes
- No mobile coverage (SFR, Orange, Bouygues)
- No toilets or privacy shelter
- Busy during the day, few spots at night
Motorhome access : Very narrow and winding access via the pass with several passing zones. Not recommended for large campervans. Road is vertiginous in places with difficult maneuvers. Other access routes are even more dangerous.
