Wooded picnic area 300 m from the road, accessible via a rutted track. Circular parking with picnic tables and bins. Very peaceful at night, busy during the day with walkers and joggers. Excellent for breaks or overnight stops, close to motorway. Note: vehicles over 3.5 tonnes prohibited; seasonal mosquito issues; some worn facilities.
