Camping sauvage au bord de la rivière Chalaux au pied du barrage de Chaumecon. Souvent utilisé par les clubs de kayak pour naviguer sur cette jolie rivière. Des bases de loisirs proposent du rafting du kayak et de la nage en eau vive sur la rivière. Pas de réseau de téléphone mais quel calme !

Wild camping in forest beside Chalaux river at the foot of Chaumecon dam. Flat, spacious terrain ideal for parking. No phone signal. Very quiet during weekdays, frequented by kayak clubs. Warning: parking now reportedly prohibited (risk of fines). Fast-flowing water, swimming not possible.
