The Camper’s take
Vast wild camping area on the Larzac plateau, isolated and very peaceful. Access via dirt track, flat grassy terrain with plenty of space for multiple vehicles. Road nearby but minimal noise at night. Ideal for hikers and wildlife observers. Warning: unclear land ownership status (reportedly private), rocky access and muddy terrain in rain. Seasonal issues with flies and processionary caterpillars.

Motorhome access : Unpaved, rocky dirt road with ruts and sharp turns. Check on foot before access. Doable for vans and small motorhomes (up to 7.50m confirmed). Soft terrain when wet: risk of getting stuck. Not suitable for large motorhomes.
