The Camper’s take
Small high-altitude parking on the Saugué plateau with stunning views of the Gavarnie cirque. Access via narrow mountain road with switchbacks (20 min climb). Flat grassy terrain, room for 2-4 vehicles. Stream nearby. Peaceful, light traffic except morning hikers. Keep dogs on leash, respect local farmers. GR10 trail nearby.

Good to know
- Very narrow access and steep (20 minutes of switchbacks).

Motorhome access : Very difficult. Very narrow mountain road with tight switchbacks. Suitable for vans and campervans; campervans not recommended (first switchbacks after the bridge are particularly tricky).
