The Camper’s take
Stunning panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Cévennes, Tanargue and Coiron ranges, reached via a challenging 1.5 km rocky track. Large, relatively flat plateau accommodating 3-4 vehicles. Good 4G coverage. Windy location with dry toilets available. Very technical access suited only to high-clearance vehicles/4x4s; no turnaround before summit. Generally quiet nights despite occasional hiker and vehicle traffic.

Good to know
- Very rocky and technical access, not suitable for all vehicles
- Highly exposed to wind, uncomfortable on some days

Motorhome access : Access restricted to high-clearance motorhomes and vans. Chaotic 1.5 km gravel track requiring very slow, cautious driving. No U-turn possible before the summit; commitment required. Problematic if road is wet.
