The Camper’s take
Isolated mountain spot in the Pyrenees with stunning panoramic views over three valleys. Access via rough, narrow gravel track (Mourtis route preferred over Melles). Suitable for L2H2 vans max. Picnic table, parking for 1-2 vehicles. Very quiet with minimal traffic. 4G available. Best visited in good weather.

Good to know
- Very bumpy with deep potholes
- Very narrow and winding road, especially not recommended via Melles.
- Limited vehicle size (L2H2), too tall to pass
Motorhome access : Narrow, rough track. Access from Le Mourtis is easier than via Melles (narrow village streets, max 2.2 m wide, sharp turns). Allow 20-25 minutes to climb. L2H2 vehicles can pass, but larger ones are not recommended. The road is bumpy but manageable with care. Avoid in bad weather or poor conditions.
