The Camper’s take
Gravel parking spot 20 minutes from Carcassonne at hilltop elevation with open views of the Pyrenees. Flat terrain, spacious layout, accessed via narrow winding mountain road (approach from Floure recommended). Very peaceful with minimal traffic except morning hikers. Ideal for vans and 4×4. Note: height restriction of 2.5 m on northern route (Barbaira bridge).

- Narrow and steep access, difficult road especially from the north.

Motorhome access : Narrow and steep mountain road. Best to approach from Floure. Northern route (Barbaira) has a bridge limited to 2.50 m; avoid if your vehicle is taller. Possible to maneuver, spacious once at the top.
