Description
Pleine nature avec refuge
The Camper’s take
Wild mountain location accessible via 1.5 km forest track. Restored shelter with wood stove, tables, and barbecue. Uneven, rough terrain unsuitable for large vehicles. Good starting point for hiking. Quiet on weekdays, popular with young groups on summer weekends.
Highlights
- Refuge with a wood stove and free barbecue area
- Numerous hiking trailheads
- Peaceful natural setting on weekdays
Good to know
- Very difficult and narrow access (last 500m heavily damaged)
- Very irregular and rugged terrain
- GPS navigation is problematic
Motorhome access : Very tricky and unsuitable access for motorhomes: narrow, heavily degraded forest path for the last 500 m, uneven and unmarked reception area. Better suited for parking and walking the remaining 2.5 km.
