The Camper’s take
Large free parking in a wooded park near Dunkerque, 30 minutes from Calais. Very spacious with no height restrictions on the main approach (some alternative access roads have 2.10 m barriers). Public toilet a 5-minute walk away. Perfect stopover before/after ferry crossing. Quiet at night but busy in early morning with dog walkers and fishermen.

Motorhome access : Very accessible. Note: some accesses have a 2.10 m barrier. Main access has no height limit. Night maneuvering tricky (no lighting). Use GPS coordinates instead of Google Maps to avoid wrong turns.
