The Camper’s take
Parking facility at the Écot village in Haute-Savoie. Large paid area (€7/24h, €1/h, free after mid-September) with dry toilets and mountain views. Excellent base for various hikes (Grand Méan Lake, Évettes refuge). Access via narrow but passable road. Calm, friendly atmosphere. Listed heritage site worth visiting.

Motorhome access : Narrow access road with sharp turns but manageable for vans up to 6–7 m. Many passing places and lay-bys. Varied terrain with flat grassy areas. Entry bridge has weight limits (2–9 tonnes depending on access point).
