The Camper’s take
Free parking on the outskirts of Annecy, 30-40 min walk to the lake, 5 min by bus (lines 1, 4) to town center. Slightly sloped terrain, accessible year-round. No amenities. Main advantage: one of the few spots allowing large motorhomes in the city. Major drawback: proximity to busy roads and roundabout causing variable noise. Avoid during school term (filled with student cars). Best in school holidays or weekdays.
