The Camper’s take
Free parking off-season (after 5-6 PM depending on period) at the foot of the Cirque du Fer à Cheval, a renowned hiking trailhead. Stunning mountain scenery. Public toilets on site. Paid access in season (€8-10 for campervans, €5 for cars). Sloped terrain for campervans. Overnight stays possible off-season, officially forbidden in summer (police checks). Very quiet and natural outside peak season, crowded during daytime in high season.
