Natural parking area by the roadside before the François Mitterrand esplanade in Château-Chinon. Shaded, flat, quiet with panoramic views over the town. Small forest nearby. Road access narrow and challenging for large motorhomes. No facilities. Parking allowed after 8 PM since 2022 (municipal bylaw). Ideal for a peaceful overnight or lunch break for self-sufficient travellers.

- Very narrow road access, problematic for motorhomes over 6.5 m
- Time restriction: parking only allowed after 8 PM since 2022

Motorhome access : Narrow and winding road access. Complicated access routes with large vehicles (>6.5m). Several motorhomes had to turn back. Tricky maneuvers, hairpin bends to avoid.
