The Camper’s take
Large free parking along the Loire River, ideally located 5-10 minutes walking from Amboise town centre and castle. Well-shaded under plane trees, flat and spacious terrain. Unrestricted height access via the bus entrance, but 2m height restriction on the fountain side. Market on Friday and Sunday 4am-6pm (no parking). Early morning street cleaning from 6am. Quiet overnight despite urban proximity.

Motorhome access : Very accessible: flat terrain, many spaces. Use the bus-side entrance to avoid the 2m barrier. Easy maneuvering. Depart before 4am on Thursdays and Saturdays if there’s a market the next day.
