The Camper’s take
Serene riverside spot on the Sarthe, accessed via narrow, rocky path (small vans only). Very calm setting midweek with ruins of old mill. Canoe base 20:00–09:00. ⚠️ BANNED since September by municipal order (bivouacking, camping-cars, wild camping). Narrow path with low branches, some thorns, limited parking (2–3 vans). No services.

Motorhome access : Very narrow and stony access, reserved for small vans and compact campervans (max 2m high). Low-hanging branches and brambles. Tricky maneuvering over 700m. Large campervans impossible. Some bodywork scratches reported.
