The Camper’s take
High-altitude Marian sanctuary (1200m) amid pasture lands with exceptional views over the Cantal and Dôme mountains. Multi-level parking with flat grassy areas and stabilized zones, very spacious. Historic chapel with natural spring water. Very narrow and steep access road. Absolute tranquility, nearby hiking trails. Must purchase from sanctuary shop (honey, gingerbread). Private ground requiring respect.

Good to know
- Very narrow and steep road access, difficult to pass oncoming traffic
- Must buy something at the shop to be allowed to sleep
- Cow bells ringing at night (soothing or disruptive depending on preference)
Motorhome access : Very narrow access with a very steep slope, not recommended for large motorhomes. Tricky maneuvering. Take the route via Apchon for a less steep approach. Vans are fine.
