Natural woodland parking at Rouffignac cave entrance, ideal for visiting the spectacular underground train route (1 km deep). Seasonal drinking water and toilets near cave. Mostly sloped terrain except 2-3 level spots at lower roundabout. Very quiet after 5-6 pm, tourist traffic from 8:30-9 am. Remote forest setting; perfect for overnight stay before morning cave tour to avoid daytime queues.

- Very steep terrain, except for a few flat spots near the roundabout

Motorhome access : Very steep terrain. Access via a narrow dead-end road. Parking at the top (tarmac) or bottom (sloped roundabout). Only 2-3 spots are roughly flat; maneuvering is difficult and the ground may be muddy. Best for small, agile vehicles
