Le lieu est fantasmagorique, ce chaos rocheux de grès serait attribué au géant Gargantua lequel, ramassant des rochers dans les parages avec sa hotte, fut ébloui par un éclair qui le fit trébucher et renversa le contenu de sa hotte sur place. Ceci pour le plus grand plaisir de l'imagination des petits et des grands. Nuit calme en pleine nature.
