Wild camping spot at the foot of Rochefort-en-Valdaine castle ruins, in mountainous terrain. Access via narrow, winding road with tight hairpin bends and low-hanging branches restricting vehicle height. Flat terrain with panoramic views. Dry toilets and bins near the castle. Very quiet off-season, some day visitors. Mobile reception inconsistent. Perfect for a peaceful night and hiking.

Motorhome access : Very tricky: winding uphill with sharp hairpins and very low branches. Suitable for small vans and motorhomes under 2.5m height only. Narrow road, risk of blocking with large vehicles in wet conditions. Recommended to check on foot before attempting.
