Description
Super endroit calme.
The Camper’s take
Exceptional natural site in a Camargue wetland reserve overlooking ponds with wild flamingos. Multiple parking bays marked along gravel tracks. Access is rough but passable. No facilities whatsoever. Wild, peaceful atmosphere with stunning sunsets and sunrises. Notable drawbacks: aggressive mosquitoes at dusk, variable wind, slightly uneven terrain. Strict environmental respect required (no dumping).
Highlights
- Spectacular view of flamingos and ponds
- Absolute peace and guaranteed solitude
- Stunning sunrise and sunset
- Sufficient and clearly marked parking space
Good to know
- Mosquitoes very aggressive by late afternoon
- Access is very potholed with significant dips.
- No facilities (water, toilets, trash bins)
- Steep and unstable terrain for some vehicles
Motorhome access : Access via a very bumpy gravel track with deep potholes. Drive slowly in a campervan. Slightly sloped and unstable terrain. Short maneuvers on marked pitches. Prefer the first spots if possible.
