The Camper’s take
Scenic natural spot in the Velay highlands with panoramic 360° views of mountains. Access via unpaved farm track from the picnic area (recommended entry point). Flat, grassy terrain with space for multiple vehicles. Very quiet and secluded, road noise distant depending on wind. No facilities (water, electricity). Pastures often inhabited by livestock. Keep clean. Perfect for a night immersed in nature.

Motorhome access : Access via a narrow, unsealed track on soft, potentially muddy terrain after rain. Suitable for small/medium motorhomes (up to ~6.60m). Flat maneuvering space but unstable grassy ground. Avoid the Borne access; use the picnic area instead. Risk of getting bogged down after bad weather.
