The Camper’s take
Wild forest spot at 1000 m altitude with stunning panoramic views over the Rhône valley and Alps. Access via rough, rocky and muddy track requiring adequate ground clearance. Very tranquil with minimal services. Natural spring water available. Magical sunrise location but strong winds and ticks reported.

Good to know
- Very rocky and muddy access, tricky for low-clearance or small vehicles
- Very strong wind reported by multiple visitors
- Ticks and insects (flies, gnats) are common
- No room to turn around in the last 800 meters; foot recon recommended
Motorhome access : Very rocky and rutted forest track over 800 m. Possible for 6-7 m motorhomes with normal ground clearance at slow speed, but risk of scraping the hitch. No U-turn possible before the end; walking scout recommended. Very low or long-towed vehicles: access very difficult to risky.
