Former quarry at 960 m altitude with spectacular views over the valley and 3 Becs mountains. Flat, stabilized ground accessible via unpaved track. Trailhead for hiking (Balcons de la Roanne). Drinking water available in nearby village. Very peaceful but legal status disputed: wild camping prohibited by prefectural order, local tensions. Occasional manure piles reported.
