Ecluse de la planque. Endroit très sympathique. Il y a 2 tables de pique-nique. Un chemin longe le canal pour faire une belle promenade. C'est assez calme. Nous y avons passé l'après midi.
The Camper’s take
Small waterside parking at the Planque Lock on the Canal du Midi, near Castelnaudary. Scenic, shaded setting with picnic tables and direct access to canal towpath walks. Generally peaceful at night, but daytime foot and cycle traffic. Adjacent guesthouse and bar-restaurant with warm welcome. Caution: very tight, arched access bridge limiting vehicle height and width, only 2-3 small vans fit. Continuous lock noise can be disturbing.

- Access via a very narrow pointed bridge (small vehicles only)

Motorhome access : Very tricky access: narrow, low-arched bridge barring large motorhomes. Vehicles over 6 m may scrape. Entry via left bank (D6113) strongly recommended. Few flat spots.
