Free lakeside spot at Étang de Pirot in forest setting. Flat ground with 4-5 spaces, picnic tables (one covered), swimming permitted on north shore. Well-marked 8 km hiking loop around the lake. Excellent for dogs. Fishermen and hikers arrive early. Very natural atmosphere, elk bugling in season. No facilities.
