The Camper’s take
Vast natural grassland dotted with pines at 1450 m elevation, with magnificent views of Mont Ventoux and excellent nighttime tranquility. Stable terrain (gravel and fine grass). Winter accessible with chains/winter tyres required from November onwards. Seasonal concerns: processionary caterpillars, insects in summer, strong winds. Security caution advised (thefts reported). Direct hiking trails to ridgeline.
