The Camper’s take
Free mountain pass parking at Col de la Pierre Plate (1200 m) in pristine Causses landscape. No facilities except a bin. Access via winding road with tight hairpins, unsuitable for vehicles over 16.50 m. Very quiet nights, 360° panoramic views. Starting point for Florac via ferrata (400 m away). Excellent for hikers and nature lovers, but watch for shepherd dogs and caterpillars.
