Pierre Arnoux. Vaste aire de pique nique auprès d'une cabane non gardée. accessible depuis savines par une longue route forestière, ou par les sentiers pour les marcheurs. Belvedere a quelques pas. Très calme et agreable. Stationnements ombragés. Nous y avons passés une belle journée.
The Camper’s take
Forest picnic area at 1290 m altitude, accessed by unpaved road from Savines (30 min). Open shelter with tables, water fountain (uncontrolled), stunning viewpoint over Serres-Ponçon lake (7-10 min walk). Very peaceful, deep nature setting, perfect for hikers. Tricky access via 6 km gravel track requiring careful driving.
