Carrefour tranquille au milieu de la forêt paisible, point de départ pour le col de Vassieux (à 10 mn de marche) route d'accès un peu chaotique mais le lieu en vaut la Chandelle (présence d'un autre petit parking en montant en direction du col, accès un peu plus scabreux)

Quiet forest junction 10 minutes from Vassieux pass. Multiple parking spots along narrow roads, accessible without 4×4. Winding access road but passable. Peaceful setting perfect for hikers, with stunning views from the pass. Night parking officially prohibited but tolerated in practice. Wildlife observation possible.
