The Camper’s take
Stunning panoramic viewpoint in the heart of the Forez region, accessible by campervan via the Palogneux route (preferred route). Drinking water at the wash house on arrival, shaded, absolutely calm with hiking trails nearby. Difficult access via the Sail alternative (narrow, very steep road). Be aware of flies in summer and occasional clay pigeon shooting/parties on adjacent private land.

- Access via Sail very steep and narrow (not recommended for motorhomes over 6m).

Motorhome access : Accessible via the green route via Palogneux (recommended). Avoid the red route via Sail: very steep, extremely narrow, and dangerous for motorhomes over 6m or 3m high. Even via Palogneux: the spot’s end has rough terrain—park near the start of the road. Passage through a narrow village.
