Large, flat parking at 1,800 m altitude, 1 km before Notre-Dame de la Salette sanctuary. Easy road access. Exceptional panoramic views of mountains and sanctuary. Usually very calm with guaranteed peaceful nights, though strong winds are possible. Public toilets available. Picnic tables. 4G antenna present (sensitivity varies). GR50 hiking trails nearby. Authentic morning experience with sheep herds from adjacent sheepfold.
