The Camper’s take
Outstanding panoramic viewpoint overlooking Puy de Dôme and Sancy massif with 360° views. Very peaceful high-altitude spot with minimal facilities (regularly emptied bin, orientation table). Access via three rough rural tracks of varying difficulty; south route recommended for larger vehicles. Flat, grassy terrain. Quiet nights, occasional hikers. No electricity or water.

- Very difficult access, rutted tracks; only suitable for high-roof vehicles
- Farm manure piles appear sporadically

Motorhome access : Very difficult. Three access routes: south (longest, suitable for 6m vans), north (shorter, steeper), west (very rough, avoid). Unpaved dirt roads, ruts, steep slopes. Recommended for 4x4 campervans and high-clearance vans only. Large motorhomes risk damage.
