Possible de dormir à la madone de Champdieu. Point de vue exceptionnel sur la plaine du forez et le village de Champdieu. Juste une cote un peu « raide » avant d’arriver sinon aucun problème d’accès. Une fois en haut il faut prendre à gauche en face des vignes pour se garer. (Il ne fait pas prendre le chemin). Site très calme et idéal pour randonnée. L’accès à la Madone se fait à pied en seulement 2min.

Parking facility at the foot of the Madone de Champdieu with exceptional panoramic views over the Forez plain. Very calm site ideal for hikers. Stabilized platform with picnic tables and waste bins. Access via paved road from the village is straightforward; avoid the stone path (steep and difficult). Short 2-minute walk to the Madone. Some evening visitors at sunset.

Good to know
- Steep, stressful uphill access (stone path to avoid absolutely)
- Less peaceful on Saturday nights (groups of young people)
- Hard to maneuver and impossible to turn around if on the wrong path
- Risk of damage for small vans/transit vans
Motorhome access : Access via an easy, paved road from Champdieu. Do not take the stone path: very steep, narrow, and dangerous for motorhomes/campervans (risk of damage, no U-turn possible). Final platform is generally flat and stabilized.
