The Camper’s take
Scenic spot beside the Truyère river, downstream of a dam (swimming prohibited due to water release risk). Flat, spacious gravelled area for multiple vehicles. Access via rough, rutted track (~1.5 km), passable in dry conditions with good suspension but challenging after rain. Very quiet setting with river and mountain views. Unspoilt location, rarely crowded.

Good to know
- Very potholed and rutted access path, not suitable for low-clearance vehicles
- Swimming prohibited and risk of sudden water release from the dam

- Tricky maneuver, no space to cross paths
Motorhome access : Very rutted and bumpy track (~1.5 km). Passable in dry conditions with air suspension; suitable for vans, only for experienced campervan drivers. Avoid after rain (very muddy) and for low or long vehicles (maneuvering impossible).
