Grand parking qui surplombe la vallée ; très belle vue dégagée plein Ouest et sur la Meije. 5 places avec la vue, et une 20taine sur le parking en tout. Accès depuis la route de Villar d'Arene, suivre les panneaux "lac du Pontet". Le lac est magnifique à 5 min à pied.
The Camper’s take
Large panoramic parking with breathtaking west-facing views over the valley and Mont-Blanc massif. Access via narrow winding mountain road to Lac du Pontet. About twenty pitches, mostly flat terrain. No onsite facilities, but beautiful lake 5 minutes walk away with seasonal snack bar. Highly busy in peak season, quieter off-peak. Challenging access for large motorhomes due to narrow, winding approach.

- Very narrow winding access, impossible for large campervans (over 7.5t)

- No services, no shade, strong winds
Motorhome access : Very narrow switchback access road with rare and difficult passing spots. Not recommended for motorhomes over 7.5t or large sizes. Vans and small campervans acceptable with caution.
