Description
The Camper’s take
Scenic riverside spot on the Tarn with direct beach access and swimming possibility. Busy with locals, fishermen and canoe rentals during the day but peaceful at night. No facilities. Access challenging due to low-height tunnels (1.80 m and 2.20 m) — approach via Marsal village instead. Friendly, clean place if visitors respect the owner's strict code of conduct.
Highlights
- Stunning natural setting by the river
- Swimming in clean, high-quality water
- Peaceful nights guaranteed with plenty of space
- Friendly welcome from the owner and locals
Good to know
- Busy during the day (locals, swimmers, canoeists)
- Tricky access: low tunnels (1.80–2.20 m clearance).
- No facilities (bins, toilets, drinking water)
- Risk of lack of consideration if the place is not respected
Motorhome access : Difficult access: several tunnels restrict height to 1.8 m and 2.2 m. Vehicles must take the D999 via Marsal. On-site maneuvering is tight in peak season. A small gravel path is passable.
