Lieu sympa, au bout d'une route. Aucun service. Plage au bord du Cher. Attention aux moustiques.
The Camper’s take
Natural riverside spot along the Cher in forest setting. Access via rough, muddy tracks—challenging for larger motorhomes without good ground clearance. Sandy beach accessible on foot. Very quiet and shaded. Main appeal: swimming and fishing. Significant downside: heavy mosquito populations, especially after rain. No facilities.
Highlights
- Very peaceful and surrounded by nature
- Direct access to a wild beach with safe swimming
- Shady forest atmosphere
Good to know
- Chaotic, muddy access paths, difficult for motorhomes.
- Mosquitoes are everywhere and aggressive, especially after rain
- Ground condition varies with weather, risk of getting stuck in sand
Motorhome access : Very difficult. Narrow, chaotic tracks with holes and mud. Only suitable for small vehicles and light camping-cars (5-6m) in good weather. A more westerly route recommended for better stability. Avoid after bad weather.
