Wild spot overlooking a valley in Lozère-Cévennes region, very calm at night despite occasional logging trucks. Exceptional panoramic views and strong sense of isolation despite proximity to road above. Uneven, rocky terrain with few truly flat spots. Short but challenging access. Excellent 4G reception. Outstanding scenic beauty and nature immersion. Best suited to travelers tolerant of irregular ground.
