Parking de l’ancien hôpital des Sables d’Olonne. Pas franchement proche du centre mais à seulement 900m de la mer à pieds. Quartier résidentiel calme. Utilisé comme parking par les visiteurs et l’entreprise d’ambulances d’à côté. Peut être une bonne solution si les autres parkings du centre sont complets. Pas d’interdiction de stationner/pas de panneau du tout en fait! J’y ai stationné en journée le temps d’un rdv donc pas testé la nuit. Grandes places, pas de délimitation, pas de barrière, facile pour manoeuvrer (j’ai une capucine de 7m). Quelques commerces de proximité dont pharmacie. La route pour y accéder est passante, donc peut-être faut-il privilégier les places au fond du parking. Petit détail; permis de démolition des bâtiments de l’ancien hôpital affichée en date de janvier 2020, mais pour l’instant aucun chantier visible.

Free parking on abandoned hospital site, 900m from beach and 20-25 min walk to town center. Large unmarked spaces, easy maneuvering for large motorhomes. Quiet residential area despite derelict buildings. Nearby amenities (pharmacy, bakery). No services. Ground condition variable but accessible. Nights mostly peaceful except occasional foot traffic.
