The Camper’s take
Small flat parking area at the top of a wooded hill overlooking Tarare with panoramic views of the town and valley. Access via a steep and narrow 1.5 km climb, challenging for large motorhomes. Spacious terrain with several level pitches. Nearby chapel (bells at 8am). Good mobile signal. Generally quiet with occasional hikers and nighttime visitors. Peaceful atmosphere with forest hiking trails nearby.

Good to know
- Extremely steep and narrow uphill with difficult passing, not recommended for large motorhomes.

Motorhome access : Extremely steep uphill (1.5 km in first gear) and narrow, no room to pass other vehicles. Paved but must drive very slowly. Not recommended for motorhomes over 7m. Acceptable for standard-size light vehicles and vans in dry conditions.
