Highest point in the northern Vosges, reached via a narrow and steep 13% road suitable for confident drivers. Night driving is officially prohibited, but local tolerance allows overnight stays under conditions (no fires). Open views from a tower, peaceful forest setting during weekdays, livelier on weekends with hikers and young visitors. Access can be tricky in rainy conditions.
