Au bout d’une route étroite mais roulante, parking sommaire en faible pente. Pas de service. Plusieurs itinéraires de randonnée balisés. Tous commerces à Le Béage à 10 mn. Très belles vues sur les Sucs volcaniques. A proximité : Mont Gerbier de Jonc, Mont Mézenc, lac d’Issarlès, Chartreuse de Bonnefoi.

Basic high-altitude parking on volcanic plateau at road's end, with narrow but accessible approach. Flat, spacious terrain, no facilities. Major strengths: stunning views of the Sucs, multiple signed hiking trails, very peaceful natural atmosphere. Shops nearby (Le Béage 10 min). Note: cold temperatures at elevation, occasional timber storage.
