Forest parking by Lac de la Maix lake, currently closed to vehicle traffic (4 km walk from Vexaincourt). Road closed June-September. Overnight parking strictly forbidden, though reportedly tolerated by some. Beautiful woodland setting, very peaceful, waterfalls and hiking trails nearby. No services. Difficult for large motorhomes.
